Fixing my Durst CLS 500 power source

A while ago, i started to notice that the lamp, in my Durst CLS 500 on a Laborator 1200, would take more and more time to light up. The fan was not working either.

Here’s the power source . It’s European model 220V.

You can see that the interference-suppression capacitor is busted.

It’s an interference-suppression capacitor KEMET  PME271M622KR30. I found one at Farnell.

I replaced it with a new and it works like a charm.
